Wonton House started off in year 2007 at one of the prime locations in Melbourne city – Russell Street, near China Town and the second branch in the young vibrant Swanston Street in year 2009. Wonton House is targeted at Asians who misses flavours from their home countries as well as patrons who are in search of a quick, tasty and an affordable meal.
Out of popular demand and the lack of authentic Chinese food in Melbourne, Kevin decided to take a step onto the mile stone, undertaking the challenge in bringing authenticity into Melbourne’s food industry. As a food connoisseur, Kevin has travelled far and abroad into the many provinces of China and brought back the unique flavours of each vibrant Chinese culture into Melbourne.
The third branch, Wonton House Secret Kitchen Glen Waverley finally launched in October 2010. Together with the master chef, Wonton House Secret Kitchen presents to Melbournians a wide range of contemporary Chinese dishes to fulfil the tastebuds of his customers and to enhance the experience of Chinese fine dining. Some of the must try chef’s specialties include “Marinated Duck with Dry Plum”, “Steamed Roasted Pork with Taro and Sweet Potato”, “Crab Meat and Tofu in Paper Hot Pot” and many more.
